Band and Choir Practice Schedule

Beginning Band: 3:15-4:00 p.m.

Woodwinds: Monday and Friday

Trumpets and Trombones: Tuesday and Friday
Percussion: Thursday and Friday 

Bearcat Band: Tuesday and Thursday 7:30-8:15 a.m.

Vocal Ensemble: Monday and Friday 7:30-8:15 a.m.

Union Hill School offers several options in which students can participate in on-campus music programs.

Beginning Band is for students who are new to playing band instruments, such as flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, or drums. The band meets after school from 3:15-4:10 p.m. 

Bearcat Band is our intermediate-level instrumental group before school, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at 7:30-8:15 a.m., and is made up of players generally in their second year playing in the band.

The Vocal Ensemble is a group for singers in fifth through eighth grades. No previous choir experience is necessary, but may be helpful. The choir learns and performs a variety of music from many styles, singing in two-part harmony. The Concert Choir meets before school on Mondays and Fridays from 7:30-8:15 a.m.
