Learning to read is an excursion into the unknown. It's about meeting challenges head-on and gaining confidence with each victory. Preparing students for this voyage requires a program that lets teachers introduce the right discoveries at the right time. When things begin to line up, you can see confidence start to shine in students' eyes. Journeys is a comprehensive K-6 English language arts program. It provides an instructional system for reading both literature and informational texts, for acquiring foundational reading skills, and for developing mastery of speaking, listening, and writing.
Go Math! is designed using the proven 5E instructional model, guiding students toward proficiency by building on their previous understanding of mathematical concepts. Embedded formative math assessments ensure students get the support they need.
Authentic Learning Connections
Embedded Math Talk and collaborative activities encourage lively discourse. Students of all languages feel safe to participate in the math community. Math Talk, new Launch Lessons, Math Centers, and games offer fun opportunities for investigation and discussion.

FOSS gives students the opportunity to think and act like scientists and engineers. UC Berkeley’s Lawrence Hall of Science developed FOSS® Next Generation™ for California to honor the letter and spirit of NGSS. FOSS presents science the way students learn it, as they explore phenomena firsthand on a journey toward mastering the three dimensions of the Framework.
