211 Community Resources for Food, Housing, and Other Services

Nevada County Health and Human Services Agency partners with 211 Connecting Point to direct County residents to community resources. 211 offers help with housing and food resources and can help direct you to services for you or your family, such as CalFresh or rental assistance. Click on the Community Resources link for more information. 211 also provides a Volunteer Hub for opportunities to give back to the community.

The Union Hill School District offers various resources to support families in overcoming barriers. Please click on the link below to request support and let us know how we can help you. 
 
Sample Services: 
  • Food Pantry: Non-perishable items are available year-round.
  • Household Staples: Paper goods, detergent, and personal and oral hygiene items are available.
  • Bearcat Boutique: Clothing and shoes for students, sizes 4-adult.
  • Referrals: Assistance with connecting to Nevada County services.
