Who we Are

Established in 1868 in a one-room schoolhouse, Union Hill Elementary School District has grown from humble beginnings to a thriving TK–8 community rooted in tradition and excellence. We are committed to academic success through a standards-based curriculum that prepares students for college, careers, and life. Our culture fosters curiosity, resilience, and growth, and we believe students thrive when families, educators, and community partners work together to support learning.

Our entire Bearcat Staff is dedicated to creating a safe, supportive, and enriching place to learn for your child. We understand that children require nurturing in all aspects of their development— academically, emotionally, and socially to achieve success. By fostering strong relationships with our students, we can effectively support their overall well-being. We strive to equip students with the skills, knowledge, and confidence that will be with them for life. Bearcats are held to high expectations through meaningful challenges in hopes of inspiring our students to become capable, caring global citizens.

Parent Involvement

At Union Hill, we believe a strong Bearcat community starts with active parent involvement. Whether it’s supporting classrooms, volunteering through Parents on the Playground, or lending a hand at school-wide events, every effort makes a difference. Our welcoming Parent Teacher Club (PTC) offers many ways to get involved—whether you can help a little or a lot. Together, we create a supportive environment where every Bearcat can thrive. We’d love to have you join us!
